The Initiative Foundation

The Initiative Foundation serves the 14 counties and two Native Nations of Central Minnesota. Programming and grants bolster the local economies of the region and give emerging entrepreneurs the resources and education to get their business off the ground and running. Initiative Foundation grants fund innovative projects at nonprofits, schools and local units of government and programming helps nonprofit staff and board members operate at their very best. Through partnerships with organizations, businesses, and local people, the Initiative Foundation hosts more than 130 Partner Funds, which deliver millions of dollars in grants to Central Minnesota each year.
