Project Overview: Increased opportunities for family activities in the community. It was the centennial for our community and the parade/events were well attended. During the 4th of July events, committee members walked around passing out flyers and selling $1.00 patriotic items with “Thank you for supporting the Lake of the Woods Early Childhood Initiative" labels attached.

Lessons Learned/Outcomes: We increased the awareness of our efforts as well as recruited committee members (we were new and not as established yet). In addition, funds were raised to supplement our grant.
