Child in the Pew Cards

Project Overview: We printed and laminated heavyweight cards titled "The Child in the Pew." The cards talks about the importance of young children being welcomed in church, how others can help support families with young chidlren, what parents can do to help their children learn the rules and routines of church etc. The informationon the card is non-demoninational. These cards were placed in the hymnal racks of all 9 of our area churches.

Lessons Learned/Outcomes: It was nice to be able to outreach into all of the area churches. We have heard many favorable comments from parents, other parishoners, and from the pastors. We have also been contacted by people who have visited the area churches and wanted more information about the cards for their home church.
