Project Overview: The project is a “Community Baby Shower” for Parents-To-Be and Parents with children birth to 18 months. The events planned for the evening are: a free meal, time to visit resource and education booths, followed by two mini workshops, and drawings for door prizes. The coalition is purchasing $500 in door prizes to be given away. To date 15 agencies have signed up to have an informational booth.

Lessons Learned/Outcomes: We are looking for this to be good opportunity for families to connect with agencies/ education resources in their community. Many agencies have not had contact at a community event in Mountain Lake and are pleased to have the opportunity to come and meet families and give them information on the services and resources that they can provide for them.
