Project Overview: The White Earth ECI Coalition partnered with SOS, Child Care, Head Start, ECFE, BCCI, Community Health, Even Start, 21st Century After School programming, and White Earth Police to put on a “Celebrating our Children” event. The event was an afternoon carnival for kids and parents with 20 booths each doing a fun activity with kids with resources given out as well as prizes. The object was to increase community activities where parents and children have fun together and to give information. We had music playing and the community police, ambulance, fire truck, school bus, and read mobile were available for parents and children to check out. We had a meal and a kids’ concert afterwards.

Lessons Learned/Outcomes: It was very successful, our registration showed 106 adults and 216 children. Everyone loved it and we plan to do it again next year.
