Project Overview: Born Learning is a national campaign that has been launched that helps parents, grandparents, and caregivers turn everyday experiences into fun learning opportunities. We will be distributing Born Learning materials with localized contact information to parents of young children in the community. The ringed laminated 'Kids Basic' cards will be distributed at the local hospital in the new born packets. Lincoln- Lyon- Murray Public Health will distribute the 'Your child @' series with mailings and WIC clinics. The 'Parent Tools' will be distributed at ECFE, WIC, Head Start, pediatricians, prenatal classes, and health fairs held at local employers. We will also be distributing some of the materials in Spanish.

Lessons Learned/Outcomes: To help parents understand the importance of early Childhood experiences. More of the Marshall area children will be ready to enter school prepared through these early educational experiences guided by parents. More parents and families will advocate for stable early childhood education funding.
