Project Overview: A connection was made to the Voices for Illinois Children Project and resources became available to utilize within our community. These parent education videos include Begin with Love, It Feels Good to Help Your Baby Learn and Grandparenting: Enriching Lives. These parent/grandparent education resources will be given out in the Austin community through Public Health Healthy Beginnings Program, child care programs, Parenting Resource Center, Community Education, Workforce Development, and other community agencies. This project is a collaboration between the Mower County C.A.R.E. Council (Children are the Responsibility of Everyone), the Austin Early Childhood Initiative and partnering members.

Lessons Learned/Outcomes: The English/Spanish videos will be given to parents that have children birth - three months These educational parenting resources are based on the latest research in early childhood development. The videos highlight guidelines that help new parents create a responsive and enriching environment of their young baby - the key to helping her learn about her new world.
