Project Overview: To develop a commmunity mindset that values prevention approaches to invest early and save later. To grow leaders within our community across sectors to be champions for our youngest citizens.

Lessons Learned/Outcomes: The local coalition, along with the local Chamber, sponsored a Business Luncheon. Approximately 40 business people, including coalition members, attended. The DVD put out by Ready 4 K was shown to help people understand the importance of the early years. A prepared script was read by several coalition members, representing different sectors of our community. It highlighted some of the statistics on families, early childhood, and economic impact. Discussion and dialogue followed about how local businesses can become involved to support and help promote our cause.
