Project Overview: Evaluation: Carlton County Coalition attempted to do evaluations across programs last year to provide a measure of success of programs. We did a parent survey, a program survey, a literacy survey at preschool screening and a child care providers' survey. Copies of surveys are available.

Lessons Learned/Outcomes: We received surveys, collated information, provided information back to members and even used some of the data to help us make decisions about effectiveness of programs. One of the lessons learned was not to collect so much info at a time, as the recording of the results was very time consuming. However, we have tons of data now on parent learning, numbers served, costs of programs, literacy status of families and needs of child care providers.
