Let's Dish and Do Luncheon

Project Overview: SB6 hosts a quarterly Let’s Dish & Do! luncheon for early childhood stakeholders. The first one was held in May, 2007. Every early childhood program has at least one representative there. The purpose of the luncheon is to energize our early childhood initiative. People will leave the table with stronger connections, increased knowledge, and a sense of accomplishment. Set the table…Network and strengthen connections with each other Dish…Briefly update attendees on what they are doing and what they would like assistance with to help their efforts Do…Choose from a menu of achievable, short-term community awareness goals that will keep the community’s eyes on the prize. The DO projects need to be accomplished before the next quarterly meeting so that they can be celebrated each time they get together. The DO project they accomplished after the first luncheon was getting Born Learning PSA’s on two local TV stations for the next 12 months.
