Project Overview: Identify all licensed child care providers in school district #739 and create a platform for all child care providers to meet, share ideas and concerns, and resources. Develop "topic boxes" similar to local library summer storytime boxes of activities for adults to do with children. Develop workshops for child care providers, parents, youth, and elders working with young children. These local workshops would offer education hours required to maintain their license with the county. They would take place at convenient hours for day care providers.

Lessons Learned/Outcomes: No workshops are offered locally for child care providers. Through improved communication and coordination of efforts, all individuals and organizations involved in the development of the young child will be working toward improving programs offered to our young children in child care settings. The same information can be shared with parents, grandparents, and youth working with our youngest children.
