Project Overview: A face-to-face meeting was held with our State Senator and State Representative prior to the start of the 2007 legislative session. Members of the coalition representing Child Care, United Way, Head Start, K-12, ECFE, School Readiness, and ECSE were present as well as representatives from Ready4K and our Initiative Foundation. We discussed what is currently happening in our community around the area of Early Childhood, how this ties into the legislative agenda of Ready4K, and how our legislators can influence policy change to positively impact the children and families in Proctor and Hermantown.
