Candidate Forums
Name of Coalition: Watonwan County Early Childhood Coalition
MIF: Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation,
Project Overview: Legislative and local government candidate forums and newspaper articles. Candidate forums are scheduled for St. James and Madelia on Monday, October 18 at our schools. These forums will include an invitation to people running for State Legislative offices, County Commissioner, City Council, and School Board. These forums will be co-sponsored by the Coalition and other community groups. Specicific questions will be asked at the forums for each of these groups based on early childhood concerns. In addition, the local newpaper is asking a series of questions of all of those running for our local races and publishing the results from the questionnaire. Early childhood questions will be included in this questionnaire.
