The visitors to the booth received the website magnets, Every Child Matters materials, stickers, candy, and information about early childhood programs in the Quad City area. (Stickers and candy were supplied by an anonymous donor.)
Cost of Project: $100-499
# of Children 0-5 Served: 35
# of Children 6-18 Served: 72
# of Adults Served: 80
# Families Served: 53
Lessons Learned/Outcomes: Goals were to promote the website, distribute the website magnets, and inform visitors about the importance of voting in the upcoming election. Visitors were also informed of various early childhood programs in the Quad City area of Eveleth-Gilbert, Mountain Iron-Buhl, and Virginia. The coalition agreed that this was not the best venue to promote our activities. People were more interested in the food and rides than in visiting the booths. Also noted that the stickers and candy were the big draw to our table.
