Lessons Learned/Outcomes: The Candidate Forum was moderated by a representative from the League of Women Voters. Dr. Molly Minkkinen provided a brief overview of early brain development. The audience had an opportunity to hear from candidates as to their views on early care and education. The legislators faced the largest forum audience of this political season, demonstrating the importance of this issue to people in the area. The fact that some candidates chose not to participate also sent a message to the audience.
